Contact BORO 6 ART CONSERVATION by email or phone for a brief consultation about your project. Clients are encouraged to send photographs that will allow a better preliminary telephone or email discussion.
All projects begin with an in-person examination of the object, usually on-site, which takes about one hour. The client will then receive a written report based on the examination, which includes a description of the object’s condition, treatment proposal, and estimate of the cost of conservation treatment. One-half of the estimated cost must be remitted with the signed contract before work will begin. When the treatment is complete, we will return the object to the client with a final treatment report, including digital images. Final payment is due at the time of the object’s return.
Depending on the project, fees may be based on a day or project rate. Expenses including those for materials, travel, shipping, and insurance will be billed separately.
